Abstract
The syndrome of congenital indifference to pain is attributed to an abnormal affective response rather than to defective perception: It consists of failure to react normally to noxious stimuli and usually occurs as as isolated sensory abnormality. Sensory apparatus of the patient is intact as far as can be determined
We experienced a rare case of congenital indifference to pain with decreased sweating and positive family history.
